Attempting to take panorama shots.

I like to think that this was random chance, that somehow a bit of seaweed and a shell were thrown onto this rock in this configuration completely at random.

The magical (and endangered) Kelp Snail sits on a rock in the foreground.

That's tannin in the water, I'm guessing.

I was surprised at how sharp the edges were on the sand still standing as this channel widened.

There's a submerged rock there.

Practicing panning. I pretty much have to turn on autofocus and hope for the best. :(

...or some kind of albatross thing?

It's a bit of a walk around to that side, but why have I never attempted it since moving here? It's on my TODO list.

I'm not sure if he was trying to take this shot, or just moving the camera. His shots were all at an angle, probably at least partly because of the weight of the camera.

I guess this seagull must be paddling its feet?
